Néstor Elizondo was born in Monterrey and earned his degree in Economics from the Instituto Politécnico Nacional in Mexico City. His early career was rooted in the public sector, where he designed and implemented public policies focused on socioeconomic development and foreign direct investment. He also served as a Microeconomics professor at the Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana. Having lived in the United States for more than 15 years, Néstor completed part of his education there and later earned a Master’s Degree in Economics in New York City, followed by a Master’s Degree in Public Administration from Harvard University in 1994.
His transition into real estate was inspired by personally overseeing the successful sale of two inherited family homes in San Miguel de Allende. Through that experience, he gained a deep appreciation for the professional marketing and negotiation process, while also discovering the city’s extraordinary cultural richness, architectural beauty, and exceptional quality of life. Motivated by both the experience and the city itself, Néstor embraced a new professional path in real estate marketing.
